The IOW kicked off the summer season with an incredible bank holiday weekender! We had a record breaking year of 77 Triumphs, over 150 people and even some classic friends such as a mini and an e-type.

Friday was spent catching up in the clubhouse over a pint (or five!) it was great to see everyone; old faces and new.

Saturday’s convoy took us on a 22 mile drive through twisty lanes and along Bembridge Habour and Sandown seafront, before ending up at Sandown Airport. They put on a delicious lunch for us, and it was wonderful looking at the cars and planes in the sun. We had a fantastic evening watching The Millennials in the clubhouse, seeing everyone dance and sing along was brilliant!

Sunday took us on a 42 mile drive along the Military Road to Freshwater and back along Middle Road to end up at Osborne House. Seeing the cars drive past the house itself was incredibly special!

Bingo and a quiz was the evening entertainment and congratulations to Martin, Caroline, Eddie and Mary for winning car of the show with there 2000 mk2 ECG 849K!

We finished the weekend with a lunch at The Wight Mouse, sitting in the sun was the best way to say farewell!
